Dr. Chantell McDowell is an educator, innovation strategist, entrepreneur, and founder of MakeHERspace Inc. With more than 20 years of experience across education, libraries, nonprofit leadership, and community engagement, she is dedicated to expanding access to STE(A)M education, entrepreneurship, and workforce development opportunities. Dr. McDowell has led innovative learning initiatives, makerspaces, and community programs that empower youth, women, and underserved populations. She holds a Doctor of Arts in Organizational Leadership and is passionate about creating pathways to innovation and economic opportunity.

Donald Edge is a business leader, youth mentor, and community advocate with over 17 years of experience in operations management, leadership development, and community programming. As Owner and Operations Manager of Store Run Elite, he oversees business operations, team leadership, and customer engagement. He also serves as Sports Director for The Arms of Love Community Outreach, where he founded a youth basketball and mentorship program that has positively impacted hundreds of young people. Donald holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media Studies from Franklin Pierce University and is passionate about empowering youth and strengthening communities.

Michael McAllister is a cybersecurity professional, technology leader, and STEM advocate with more than a decade of experience in cybersecurity operations, threat hunting, information technology, workforce development, and STEM education. He specializes in identifying and mitigating cyber threats while helping organizations strengthen their digital security and resilience. Michael is also passionate about STEM education and workforce development. Through his work with Johnson C. Smith University and Charlotte’s Web Project, he has mentored aspiring technology professionals, supported STEM programs, and expanded access to technology education and career opportunities for underserved communities. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University and numerous industry certifications. Michael is committed to creating safer digital environments while preparing the next generation of technology leaders.

Tierra Blanchard is a dedicated Library Assistant with 17 years of experience serving diverse communities through the Brooklyn Public Library system. She specializes in community engagement, literacy programming, digital inclusion, and patron services. Throughout her career, Tierra has developed educational programs, technology workshops, and outreach initiatives that connect individuals with valuable resources and opportunities. She is committed to fostering lifelong learning and strengthening community connections through public service.

Isis Turner is a dedicated community advocate with experience in youth development, customer service, and hospitality leadership. She has worked extensively with at-risk youth, providing mentorship, behavioral support, and life skills guidance within group home settings. Her background in hospitality has strengthened her communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills. Isis is passionate about empowering individuals, fostering positive growth, and creating supportive environments where people can thrive.

Mrs. Jasmine (George) Atkins is an experienced treasury and finance executive with nearly 20 years of expertise in treasury management, accounting, financial operations, and risk management. She has led cash management initiatives, strengthened financial controls, and implemented strategies that support organizational growth and operational excellence. Jasmine holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from Monroe University. As Treasurer of MakeHERspace Inc., she provides financial oversight and supports the organization’s mission to empower youth through education, innovation, and leadership.

Victoria Seawright is a workforce development and human services professional dedicated to helping individuals achieve independence and meaningful employment. She has experience supporting individuals through vocational planning, advocacy, career development, and workforce readiness. Her background also includes human resources, workforce training, and compliance, enabling her to effectively support both individuals and organizations. Victoria holds a Bachelor’s degree from Southern New Hampshire University and is passionate about empowering people through opportunity, support, and community engagement.

Candace Edge Johnson is a Culture Ambassador and Engagement Strategist with more than 12 years of experience in employee engagement, event management, and organizational culture. She leads initiatives that foster inclusion, wellness, and professional development while creating meaningful workplace experiences. Candace also serves as Chair of the Board for The Arms of Love Community Outreach, helping connect businesses and communities through service and advocacy. Known for her people-centered leadership, she is dedicated to creating environments where individuals feel valued, supported, and inspired to succeed.
